The main kids trends for the summer

Some say 2020 did not happen – or that the 366 days of the year were compressed into just two months. While this not an absolute truth for all productive sectors, for fashion it literally translates.

The fashion circle ha just surrendered to “classic blue”, the colour chosen by Pantone to be the protagonist of the season, but then came the pandemic and people were forced to lock themselves in their homes, leaving the scenery monotonous and dull. A sea of grey turned into a hit…

Brazilian fall and winter were basically cancelled, and the south hemisphere spring appeared timidly, but with the desire to bring joy back into everyday life. It was then that the primary colours entered the kids’ trend pool – opening wings for Brazilian summer 2021 and saying bye bye to the quarantine pyjamas.

The shapes remain comfortable, with oversized trim to allow movement. The shapes have become more lively and engaged – this has been a period of reflection and resignification, in which families have been united more than ever.

On the main palette, red, yellow and blue divide the attention with green, orange and purple. A true fusion of senses invades the wardrobe to give a look up and fill the kids with positivism. It’s time to think about the better days ahead – but without losing your tenderness and style!
